Euphonium Soloist/Clincian Mr. Bolden started music when he was fifteen years old. With no musical training, he began playing trumpet. He played trumpet for a year and a half in high school then  switched to euphonium. He finished out high school playing euphonium. During high school he participated in the LaGrange Youth Symphony and LaGrange High School Band before moving to college.

Joshua Bolden attended Columbus State University. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree music performance. His teachers include Andrew Miller, Martin Cochran and Hiram Diaz. During his time at CSU, he has recently competed in the Air Force Band Euphonium Audition and the SERTEC Solo Competition. Mr. Bolden’s plans after graduation are to attend graduate school in euphonium performance in hopes of winning a military band job.
